Following the announcement by Buckingham Palace of the death of HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, Anila Dhami On Sunday aired a 2-hour special program on Prince Philip's life and legacy with insights and stories from people who knew and worked with him. Royal Commentator Dickie Arbiter shared his insights into the Royal Family and gave us information on the funeral arrangements. We took listeners on a journey through the Duke of Edinburgh's early years and childhood, to when he met the then Princess Elizabeth, to the present day with his marriage and devotion to the Queen, crown, and country lasting more than seven decades. Also, we were joined by Secretary General of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award John May DL, Former Trustee for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Ashok Rabheru CVO DL, and Entrepreneur and Philanthropist Michael Tobin OBE, who all shared their personal stories with Prince Philip and their experiences of working with him on one of his biggest legacies, the Duke of Edinburgh Award. And of course, we took calls and messages from listeners paying tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh and sharing their stories. 

HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, died in Windsor on Friday 9th April 2021 at the age of 99.
